About Brandon's Wallet
Because of Brandon is a heartfelt fundraiser honoring the memory of Brandon Houge, a beloved member of the Ironton community who unexpectedly passed away in 2015 due to complications of diabetes. This annual event is dedicated to supporting Brandon's Wallet, a vital initiative providing financial support to residents dealing with Type 1 Diabetes.
Every contribution to Because of Brandon directly benefits those in need, offering assistance for various necessities. From gas cards for essential travel to treatment, groceries, and scholarships for youth camp, our mission is to alleviate financial burdens and improve the lives of individuals managing diabetes.
In addition to covering non-medical expenses, funds from Because of Brandon are also allocated to cover medical bills, prescription drugs, and essential medical equipment and supplies that may not be covered by insurance. Your support ensures that no one faces the challenges of diabetes alone, providing crucial aid to those who need it most.
